I have a friend who has been working out for 2 hours each day. My friend is frustrated because with weeks of working out she finds her waist line losing a few inches then it has gained a few inches. This has been going on for a month. She just can’t make it stick. She tells me that she eats healthy and rarely eats red meat.
I have noticed that she still has not given up white bread and likes spicy peanuts.
She told me that since she turned 40 she has had a problem with her stomach. She isn’t fat anywhere else except for her stomach. She said her mother and grandmother had the same problem with inflammation in the stomach.
My friend is very interested in essential oils and how it can cure the body inside and out. I started reading about Arthritis and the diet and oils that are best. Arthritis is inflammation of the joints. I figure that it could also pertain to inflammation in the stomach. It states that the foods you should stay away from are red meats, including pork: alcohol; tea, coffee, dairy products; all sugar; refined flour and products (biscuits, cakes, white bread); chocolate and drinking chocolate; fried foods, including stir-fried; peanuts, lemons grapefruit, oranges, limes; gravy; root vegetables, including potatoes; tomatoes; and all preservatives and additives including natural ones.
You may eat lots of fish, including tinned; plenty of green vegetables; salads; pulses; nuts; seeds, such as sunflower and pumpkin; whole grain bread; chicken; grapes, apricots, and peaches. Drink filtered or bottled water, dandelion coffee, and herbal teas.
